The U.S. team for the 2026 PING Junior Solheim Cup has been confirmed after captain Morgan Pressel announced her four picks to join the eight automatic qualifiers for the contest at Bernardus Golf, The Netherlands, from September 7-8.
The 12 girls, aged from 12 to 18, will take on their European counterparts in a two-day competition comprising fourballs, foursomes and singles, just before the Solheim Cup unfolds from September 9-13.
It will be the first time the PING Junior Solheim Cup and the Solheim Cup have taken place on the same course.

LPGA Major champion Pressel makes history as the first former U.S. PING Junior Solheim Cup participant to be named captain, bringing a unique perspective to the role after competing in the event herself in 2002 and 2005. During her two appearances, she helped the U.S. Team earn victories in both competitions and compiled an undefeated 4-0-2 record.
She then played in six Solheim Cups between 2007 and 2019, establishing herself as one of the U.S. Team’s fiercest competitors.
“Being captain of the PING Junior Solheim Cup is really about creating an environment where these young players feel confident, supported and proud to represent their country,” said Pressel.
“Beyond the pairings and strategy, it is about mentorship, helping them enjoy the moment, learn from the experience and hopefully take something from the week that inspires them as they continue their journey in the game and follow their dreams.”
The United States Team will be co-captained by AJGA Player Services Manager Sidney Jockisch. Jockisch played collegiate golf at Northern Illinois University, where she developed a passion for competition and mentorship through the game.
In her role with the AJGA, she works closely with junior golfers and their families, helping guide them throughout their junior golf journey. Most recently, Jockisch served as the West Team Assistant Captain at the 2026 Wyndham Cup at Old Sandwich Golf Club, bringing valuable leadership and team event experience to the United States squad.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a prestigious event,” she said. “Representing the United States is something every player takes great pride in and I’m excited to help support them throughout that journey.
“Working alongside Captain Morgan Pressel is an honour in itself. She has an outstanding reputation, a deep passion for this event and serves as an incredible role model for the players. I’m looking forward to contributing to an experience that I hope each player will remember and cherish for a lifetime.”
Anne van Dam will captain the European team at the 2026 PING Junior Solheim Cup. She represented Europe in both the 2013 PING Junior Solheim Cup and the victorious 2019 Solheim Cup team, bringing valuable experience to the squad of 12 junior Europeans, who will be confirmed on August 18.
The U.S. Team will be looking to retain the trophy after a resounding victory two years ago. Team Europe won in 2023 and 2021.
Overall, the United States leads the all-time PING Junior Solheim Cup series with an 8-4-1 record.
