U.S. Solheim cup team confirmed

Lindy Duncan, Megan Khang, and Rose Zhang are the three athletes picked by Captain Angela Stanford to complete the 2026 U.S. Solheim Cup Team. The captain’s picks were made following the conclusion of the Qualification Period after the CPKC Women’s Open. 

Duncan will be making her debut appearance in the Solheim Cup, joining Auston Kim as one of two rookies on the U.S. Team in 2026. She held the second qualifying spot via the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings for nearly two months before dropping out of position following The Standard Portland Classic. 

At 35 years old, Duncan is the oldest athlete on the 2026 Team and the oldest debutante since Nancy Scranton played her first Solheim Cup match at age 39 in 2000. 

In her last two years on the LPGA Tour, Duncan has amassed 14 top-25 finishes, including a T7 at the 2026 HSBC Women’s World Championship. She was also featured earlier this year in the LPGA Drive On presented by Ford content series.

Khang will be competing in her fifth Solheim Cup, having appeared in each of the last four editions of the biennial team competition. The veteran has an overall record of 7-3-3 in the 13 matches she has played and was one of four players to go undefeated at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in 2024. Notably, Khang is 7-0-1 over her last eight Solheim Cup matches, dating back to her singles victory over Sophia Popov in 2021 at Inverness in Toledo, Ohio.

Over her last two seasons, Khang has recorded 12 top-25 finishes, the most recent of which came at the 2026 Mizuho Americas Open (T12). 

Zhang will be playing in her third consecutive Solheim Cup. In her 2024 appearance, she had arguably one of the most dominant performances in the history of the event, going 4-0-0 and winning by scores of 3 and 2 (foursomes, w. Lauren Coughlin), 5 and 4 (four-ball, w. Andrea Lee), 6 and 4 (fourball, w. Andrea Lee) and 6 and 4 (singles, d. Carlota Ciganda). None of those matches ever made it to the 17th hole. 

The 23-year-old has six top-25 finishes in 2026, including a gritty T8 finish at The Standard Portland Classic two weeks ago. 

The players that qualified through the U.S. Solheim Cup points standings are Nelly Korda, Angel Yin, Jennifer Kupcho, Yealimi Noh, Auston Kim, Lauren Coughlin and Allisen Corpuz. The players that qualified through the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings are Andrea Lee and Alison Lee. 

The U.S. Team will head to the Netherlands in two weeks’ time for the 20th edition of the Solheim Cup at Bernardus.
