Are you ready to be part of something truly unforgettable? The Solheim Cup 2026 is coming to the stunning Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands, and we're looking for passionate, energetic and dedicated volunteers to help make this world-class event a spectacular success. 

Whether you're a lifelong golf fan or simply love being part of major international events, this is your chance to get up close to the action, meet amazing people from around the world, and contribute to one of the most prestigious tournaments in women's golf.

Applications for volunteering at The Solheim Cup 2026 are now closed.

  • Around 800 - 900 volunteers will be required for the Solheim Cup 2026 with approximately 500 being recruited locally from the Netherlands, 300 internationally and 75 student volunteers. 

  • The volunteer application window has closed. Based upon applications received, provisional role allocations and shift assignments will commence in December 2025. 

  • Applications have now closed. Please stay tuned on next steps.

  • Volunteers will be given the opportunity in the app to add if you like to be in the same shift as your spouse or friend. Based on your preferences we will try our best to accommodate.

  • It is proposed that all applicants will be notified by mid-December if they have been successfully accepted into Solheim Cup Volunteer Team.  Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified at the same time.

  • All Volunteers and Spectators are requested to travel to and from Bernardus by bicycle or public transport.  There will be no onsite parking available but there will be a shuttle bus running from Den Bosch train station to the Bernardus bus terminal each day, free of charge.

    If you are unable to use a bicycle or public transport, there will be a limited amount of Volunteer car parking located at an offsite location which will be served by a shuttle bus to and from Bernardus each day.  In order to qualify for one of the limited number of spaces available, volunteers will need to ‘car share’ ensuring that there are a minimum of three volunteers per car for each shift. 

  • If you have already volunteered at the KLM Open 2025 or the Dutch Ladies Open 2025, In that case, you no longer need to use this registration link. Simply open your VMS app and select Solheim Cup.

  • Yes, there will be a dedicated page on the Solheim Cup 2026 website for Volunteers.  Content will progressively include a variety of logistic and administrative information to make the entire volunteering experience as enjoyable as possible.  Further details will be provided in due course.

  • Yes, all applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before 07 September 2026.  There is no upper age limit.  It is required that all volunteers are physically able to perform the duties that are assigned to them. You must be able to speak English.

  • All volunteers must commit to a minimum of all 3 tournament days as well as at least one practice day or one of the PING Junior Solheim Cup days.  Those with greater availability and flexibility are more likely to be selected to be part of the Solheim Cup Volunteer Team.

  • Absolutely.  We will also need volunteers for the PING Junior Solheim Cup which will be played at Bernardus on Monday 07 September and Tuesday 08 September 2026. 

  • The Full schedule will be released soon, in the meantime the week will follow the following times: 

    07 September Monday - Ping Junior Solheim Cup and Practice Day 

    08 September Tuesday - Ping Junior Solheim Cup and Practice Day 

    09 September Wednesday - Practice Day 

    10 September Thursday - Practice Day 

    11 September Friday - Day One - Fourballs and Foursomes 

    12 September Saturday - Day Two - Fourballs and Foursomes 

    13 September Sunday - Day Three - Singles 

  • You will receive a Solheim Cup Volunteer Clothing package, along with catering during the days you work.  In addition, you will receive an individual, non-transferable, Solheim Cup Accreditation pass which will give you access to Bernardus for the Solheim Cup for you to perform your duties during the week.

    You are welcome to watch the Solheim Cup on the days that you are not working. Although you are not able to enter the Crew Café on that day.

  • Your Solheim Cup Clothing package and Accreditation Pass will be available for collection in advance of the tournament from a nearby off-site location pick up point which will be confirmed nearer the time.

  • No.  We do not envisage an option for volunteers to purchase discounted tickets for friends/family members.  However, you will be able to purchase tickets through the website.

  • No.  All volunteer roles at the Solheim Cup are unpaid roles. Your time and commitment will be provided on an entirely voluntary basis.

  • Shift times and timings vary dependent upon the actual role assigned.  Under normal circumstances, you can expect the volunteer shift to be around 5 hours per day. This can also be 2,5 hours in the morning and 2,5 hours in the afternoon. For some roles you need to be available all day, as we may schedule you both in the morning and in the afternoon. This mainly applies to on-course roles.

  • Successfully accepted volunteers reporting for duty will receive a meal allocation for each shift worked.  Drinks and snacks will also be made available to volunteers at Volunteer HQ throughout the day.  Further details of the exact catering arrangements will be provided in due course.  

  • Yes, the majority of positions require long periods of standing and or walking. Whilst the Solheim Cup is an inclusive and non-discriminatory event, volunteers are reminded of the rigors of a golf event which routinely require long periods exposed to the elements (sunshine, rain, wind etc).  In addition, certain roles involve walking and some even involve carrying equipment - volunteers should, therefore, be physically able to perform such duties.

  • Yes.  All successfully accepted volunteers will be briefed ahead of commencing their first shifts and provided with appropriate guidance / training from the team of experienced supervisory volunteers.  Such support and guidance will continue throughout the event to ensure that volunteers can be comfortable with performing the duties assigned to them.

  • All travel and accommodation costs are routinely covered by the Volunteers themselves, and no direct support is therefore provided.

  • No. Unfortunately, no discounts are available. 

  • It is recommended to stay within the s’Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) area so you will be able to use the tournament shuttle buses from the train station to gain access to Bernardus Golf, or stay in a town that connects to Den Bosch via a train line.
